Click Fraud Detector - Detect Fraud

What is click fraud, after all? Click fraud is a black-hat technique of falsely increasing the number of clicks on a pay-per-click ad. It is a very valid concern for many PPC practitioners. But fright of click fraud is no reason to avoid PPC altogether.

As long as you are aware of the phenomenon, committed to being always vigilant when it comes to your account and have engaged proactive measures to protect yourself, you will be in good shape! It is usually driven by one of two reasons: advertisers are trying to destroy their competitors by driving up their costs and meeting their budget caps early on in the day or ad publishers are clicking on the ads presented on their own sites to create more income for themselves.

For many years, search engines have been getting a lot of criticism for not going the extra mile to spot and cancel click fraud. But this suspicion is certainly not unjustified. Bear in mind that regardless of whether a click is spiteful or not, it’s generating “dough” for the search engine displaying it.

So, in order to confirm their reputations (and put tiring advertisers’ minds at rest), all of the major ad platforms have nominated their very own task forces to take on click fraud. So now that you know what does click fraud consist of, you’re probably wondering if the malicious clicks are happening in your account.

Well, before you get all paranoid, let me reassure you that there are a lot of things you can do to identify whether you are a victim of click fraud or not! Depending on the time and resources you can dedicate to monitoring click fraud, you can approach the problem one of two ways: through manual analysis or through an automated solution.
